I love this video , ...
I love this video , since I have this same set. I didn't know how many more are out there. Mine is not restored, but does work fine. It has the CTC7 chassis. I also have the metal cabinet CTC7 with matching base. Not? remote control. It also woks great in it's unrestored condition.
I often dream about ...
I often dream about being able to go back in time to the taping of? this commercial... with my iPhone and laptop computer.
The accent is not " ...
The accent is not "Main" per se'. It is a "New-England-Ivy-League" tonal inflection. That type of accent was perceived to be "upper class" back then and announcers were often chosen to convey or imply an "upper class social status" to whatever product or service they were speaking about. The accent? is just a bit "forced" to those who grew up around people who really spoke that way, but to the masses across America, this is how the "upper crust" sounded like - so they thought!
Does anyone know ...
Does anyone know the year and model number of this particular set with the Wireless Wizard Remote? I'm looking to add a piece or two to my collection of vintage Color TV's and finding one of these (in tact) would surely be a major score in this oddball world of Vintage Color Set collecting!! Having? the year and/or model number would be a great help if anyone happens to know for certain??? Thanks for responding if you have it!

We had a 1963 Magnavox B&W TV/Stereo Console with a 4-speed turntable, AM/FM receiver & wireless ultrasonic remote. No infrared remote then. It was pretty cool. I think someone is? using it for a storage cabinet. LOL!!!!!

Imagine getting TV signals over the air, with no? cable - how crude ;)
This had the ...
This had the controls of a typical '80s TV (all buttons, no knobs, wireless remote) 25 years early. Too bad there was no stereo sound. And you needed those color controls for a? tube NTSC (never the same color) set. Also, don't go to sleep while that wax coated flyback transformer is powered up. Still a pretty remarkable job by RCA, and much cleaner styling than the typical 1961 TV.
